St Mary, Runwell Church - The W tower is constructed from Kentish ragstone. It is 
diagonally buttressed, and has a round stair turret. St Mary's as a whole is 
basically late fourteenth century.

Miscellaneous Images

St Mary, Runwell Church - The N porch, seen here, has many interesting features. The 
most prominent, though, being the result of a rector in the 1930s, who was 
rather fond of painting.

St Mary, Runwell Church - The 'painting rector' was especially fond of reds and blues, 
as is evidenced by the whole of the porch. Here we see the Virgin Mary in the 
king-post above the gateway.
