To the memory of William Palmer Esquire, late of this parish, and many years one of his majesty's Justice of the Peace for the county of Essex. Grandson to the late Archdale Palmer Esquire of Wanlip in the county of Leicester. He departed this life June 25, 1821 in the 84th year of his age.   Also to the memory of Mary, his wife, daughter of the late Rev. John Horsley, rector of Thorley in Hertfordshire. She departed this life July 3, 1824 in the 77th year of her age.   They had issue six sons and three daughters of whom three, Thomas, Edward and Anna, died before their father. In all the relations of life in discharge of every duty as chilren as parents as friends as subjects in the fear of God and love of man they have left behind them an example every way worthy of imitation.
