All Saints, Southend-on-Sea Church - To be fair, the East end of the church would probably not look as plain as it does, if it was not immediately adjacent to the living and functional quarters of the church. The bright areas upon the wall are caused by the reflections of the sun against the windows of the block of flats directly opposite the church.

All Saints, Southend-on-Sea Church - All Saints was begun in 1889, to the designs of Brooks (GR). However, the two W bays, and hence the W frontage seen here, were not completed until 1934.
