Here lieth buried Mary Davies the wiffe of Richard Davies the sonne of John Davies the elder of Middleton in the County of Salop, Esq) Esq of the body exterordinary unto his magisty, shee was the eldest daughter & coheire or Richard Cocke of this Parish Esq, the sonne of John Cocke Esq by Elizabeth his wiffe, one of the daughters of the right Honorable Thomas Lord Wentwoorth Lord Chamberleyn to King Edward the 6, Shee departed this liffe without issue born, on the 2 day of September Anno 1623.
